Cleveland, OH — Faizon Fields’ 17-point performance propelled Milwaukee to a narrow 71-68 victory over Cleveland State on Wednesday evening.
Fields also contributed seven rebounds for the Panthers (13-13, 8-7 Horizon League). Erik Pratt added 13 points, shooting 4 of 11 from the hardwood, including 1 of 6 from beyond the arc, and was perfect at the free-throw line (4 of 4). Elijah Jamison chipped in with 11 points, going 4 of 7 from the floor and 1 of 3 from the free-throw line.
Cleveland State (15-11, 8-7 Horizon League) was led by Tristan Enaruna, who posted 20 points and grabbed eight boards. Tujautae Williams also had a solid outing, contributing 12 points and seven rebounds. Drew Lowder finished with nine points for the Vikings.
