Atlanta, GA — Dyson Daniels scored 25 points, leading the Atlanta Hawks to a 132-123 win over the shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.

Atlanta shot a sizzling 54.1% from the floor and saw six players reach double digits in scoring. Zaccharie Risacher led the charge with 22 points, including a scorching 20 in the first half, while Terance Mann contributed a season-best 19 points.

The Hawks (31-34) have now won three straight games and four of their last five.

Quentin Grimes put up 35 points for Philadelphia, including 17 in the fourth quarter, but the 76ers (22-42) were unable to overcome the Hawks’ offensive firepower. Ricky Council IV tied his career-high with 19 points in the loss.

Key Takeaways:

76ers:
The 76ers were severely depleted, with only nine players available due to injuries to key contributors, including point guard Tyrese Maxey and forwards Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr. George is also set to miss Philadelphia’s upcoming game against Toronto due to left groin soreness. Maxey sat out his fourth consecutive game, and starting center Andre Drummond was sidelined due to illness.

Hawks:
Atlanta played without their star point guard and leading scorer, Trae Young, who was out with a left calf contusion. Despite his absence, the Hawks’ defense was active, with Daniels — the NBA leader in steals — adding to his total by swiping the ball on Philadelphia’s opening possession.

The Hawks dominated the final 4:50 of the first half, outscoring the 76ers 23-7 to seize control. After taking the lead, Atlanta never trailed again in the second half.

Key Stat:

Atlanta controlled the boards with a commanding 47-31 rebounding advantage. Risacher and Clint Capela each grabbed eight rebounds to help secure the Hawks’ dominance in the paint.

Both teams will be in action on Wednesday night, with the Hawks hosting Charlotte, while the 76ers travel to Toronto.
