Las Vegas, NV — The Minnesota Lynx made history on Saturday with a record-breaking 111-58 victory over the Las Vegas Aces, setting the WNBA mark for the largest road win in league history. Kayla McBride led the charge, hitting 8 of 10 three-pointers, all in the first half, as the Lynx dominated from start to finish.
Minnesota’s scorching hot shooting helped them build a commanding 67-33 lead by halftime. As a team, the Lynx made 13 of 14 from beyond the arc in the first half, setting the tone for an unforgettable performance.
The 53-point margin of victory shattered the previous record for the largest road win, a mark held by the Houston Comets since 1998. Minnesota also set a new team record with 17 three-pointers made on 27 attempts.
McBride finished with 24 points, but after an impeccable first half, she missed both of her 3-point attempts in the second half, falling short of the WNBA record for most three-pointers in a game (nine).

Jessica Shepard posted her fourth double-double of the season, contributing 18 points and 14 rebounds. MVP contender Napheesa Collier added 18 points before leaving the game in the third quarter due to an ankle injury. Natisha Hiedeman also scored 17 points to help extend the Lynx’s league-best record to 24-5.
For the Aces (14-14), Jewell Loyd scored 12 points, while reigning MVP A’ja Wilson finished with 10 points in the loss.
The Lynx got off to a red-hot start, hitting 4 of 5 3-pointers in the first five minutes to take an 18-8 lead. By the end of the first quarter, they were up 35-17, having made 6 of 7 from deep. Minnesota went on a 9-shot streak from beyond the arc and took a commanding 67-33 lead into halftime. They pushed the lead to 92-49 heading into the final quarter, where they cruised to the record-breaking win.
