CHICAGO, IL — The Atlanta Dream extended their winning streak to four games with a commanding 86-65 victory over the Chicago Sky on Thursday night. Allisha Gray led the charge with 25 points, while Jordin Canada contributed an all-around effort with 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

After trailing 34-28 at halftime, Atlanta came out strong in the third quarter, scoring the first 10 points to take their first lead of the game. The Dream dominated the period, outscoring the Sky 32-18, and entered the final quarter with a 60-52 advantage.

Canada helped push the Dream’s lead into double digits, hitting a crucial basket with 5:47 remaining to give Atlanta a 74-63 lead.

Te-Hina Paopao added 12 points, and Nia Coffey provided a spark off the bench with 10 points for Atlanta (19-11). Naz Hillmon also made a significant contribution, grabbing 11 rebounds to mark her second consecutive game with double-digit boards. Gray and Paopao each connected on three 3-pointers, as the Dream hit nine in total during the game.

The Sky (8-22) were led by Rachel Banham, who scored 18 points. Kamilla Cardoso finished with 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists, but the team’s efforts fell short. Angel Reese, who has been sidelined due to a back injury, missed her seventh game in the past nine.

For the Dream, Brittney Griner (neck) and Rhyne Howard (left knee) were also unavailable, but Atlanta’s depth proved more than enough to secure the win.

In a bizarre turn of events, a second sex toy was thrown onto the court in the final seconds of the game, adding an unexpected distraction to an otherwise dominant performance by the Dream.
