Columbia, S.C. – The North Florida men’s soccer team earned a dominant 2-0 victory over South Carolina on Tuesday night at Eugene E. Stone III Stadium, notching its third consecutive win and improving to 4-3 on the season.
Redshirt junior goalkeeper Luciano Natoli anchored the defense with two saves in a full 90-minute performance. The shutout marked his third of the season—and second in the past three games—bringing his career total to seven.
Over their three-game winning streak, the Ospreys have outscored their opponents by an impressive 11-1 margin.
The scoring began in the 25th minute when sophomore forward Kaiss Mansouri capitalized on a well-placed pass from junior defender Paul Schacherer. Mansouri took control down the right flank and finished from close range to put North Florida ahead, 1-0.

In the second half, redshirt senior Luc Granitur added an insurance goal in the 69th minute. The veteran forward slotted home a shot from just inside the 18-yard box, tallying his third goal in the last four matches—and his second in as many games. The strike marked the 10th of his collegiate career.
The victory also marks North Florida’s first three-game win streak since 2016. A total of 18 Ospreys saw playing time, with five players—Natoli, junior midfielder Tyler Prebenda, senior defenders Alex Barnett and Jaylen Yearwood, and sophomore midfielder Rafa Rios—playing the full match.
North Florida wraps up its three-game road swing this Saturday, September 20, when it visits Mercer at Betts Stadium in Macon, Ga. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
