Bronx, NY—-Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, celebrating its 45th Anniversary, is proud to present  Deborah Cox, Estelle, & Vivian Green Ladies Night on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 8:00 pm. Deborah Cox, Estelle, and Vivian Green will showcase powerhouse vocals that celebrate the very best of contemporary and classic R&B.

Deborah Cox has topped the R&B and Pop charts with six Top 20 Billboard R&B singles and thirteen No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play Chart. Her second album spawned two No. 1 R&B songs, including the record-breaking “Nobody’s Supposed To Be Here,” and “We Can’t Be Friends.” In 2020, she was honored with the Black Music Honors’ Entertainer Icon Award for her 25 ground-breaking years in the music industry.

In 2023, she partnered with the youth-led movement Revolutionnaire to launch the “Beautiful U R” initiative to support women experiencing housing insecurity. Deborah Cox is currently known for her roles on the BET Original First Wives Club and Emmy-nominated HBO MAX’s series, Station Eleven. In 2024, she starred as Glinda and co-produced the Broadway revival of “The Wiz.”

Estelle is known for her unique blend of genres, particularly hip-hop and R&B. Born in West London, she developed an early passion for music, singing in her mother’s church choir and getting influenced by hip-hop legends. She gained prominence in the music industry with her Grammy Award-winning single “American Boy,” featuring Kanye West, which became a notable hit in 2008. Her debut album, The 18th Day, released in 2004, established her as a rising star, but it was her second album, Shine (2008), that propelled her to international fame.

Her career continued to evolve with subsequent albums such as All of Me (2012) and True Romance (2015). In addition to her music career, Estelle has lent her voice to various animated characters, notably Garnet in the hit animated series Steven Universe. Her sixth album Stay Alta, was released on May 23, 2025.

Vivian Green signed a recording deal with Sony Music at 19 and released her debut album A Love Story in 2002 which contained the hit “Emotional Roller Coaster.” Her second album Vivian released in 2005, which included the breakout hit “Gotta Go Gotta Leave.” In 2015, she signed with producer and recording artist Kwamè Holland’s label Make Noise Recordings (Capitol Records).

Her album Vivid garnered her biggest hit in 10 years with “Get Right Back To My Baby” and in 2017, she followed up with the album VGVI.

Vivian Green and Make Noise records joined forces with The SoNo Recording Group for her 7th studio album Love Absolute (2020) with guest appearances from Ghostface Killah on “Light Up” and Mike Philips on the classic W.C. Handy tune “Harlem Blues.”
