Los Angeles, CA — No. 19 USC Trojans delivered a dominant all-around performance Thursday night, overwhelming the Cal Poly Mustangs 86–39 behind a career night from Londynn Jones.

Jones poured in a career-high 28 points on an efficient 11-of-16 shooting effort, knocking down five 3-pointers to fuel the Trojans’ attack. Jazzy Davidson filled the stat sheet with 17 points, nine rebounds, and six steals, while Kara Dunn added 12 points to help USC improve to 8–3 on the season.

From the opening minutes, the Trojans asserted control. After briefly falling behind in the game’s first 21 seconds, USC seized momentum and never looked back, racing to a 55–23 halftime lead. A blistering 22–2 run to open the second half pushed the margin to 67–25 and effectively ended any hopes of a Cal Poly comeback.

USC’s defense and rebounding proved decisive throughout the night. The Trojans forced 27 turnovers, converting them into 39 points, and dominated the glass 44–29. USC shot 44% from the field while holding Cal Poly to just 32% shooting overall.

Malia Samuels orchestrated the offense with a game-high seven assists, and Yakiya Milton anchored the interior with four blocks. Cal Poly, now 2–9, was led by Madison Butcher and Avery Knapp, who scored 10 points apiece.

The win continued USC’s perfect record in the all-time series, improving the Trojans to 5–0 against the Mustangs. USC also matched the tone of last season’s meeting, a 90–35 Trojans victory.
