Hartford, Conn. — UConn continued its dominant march through the Big East on Tuesday night, overwhelming Xavier 92–60 behind a balanced scoring attack and a blistering first-half performance that left little doubt about the outcome.

Silas Demary Jr. led the way with 17 points, while Tarris Reed Jr. and Eric Reibe each chipped in 14 as the third-ranked Huskies cruised to their 18th consecutive victory. Jayden Ross added 11 points for UConn (22–1, 12–0), which remained unbeaten in conference play and matched one of the best Big East starts in program history.

Braylon Mullins set the tone early, scoring all 13 of his points before halftime. He accounted for 10 of UConn’s first 12 points as the Huskies bolted out to a 16–2 advantage and never looked back. Shooting 61 percent in the opening half, UConn built a commanding 50–22 lead at the break—its largest halftime margin in conference action this season.

The lopsided win marked just the second time in the past decade that UConn has captured back-to-back Big East games by 20 points or more. It also represents the program’s longest winning streak since the 1998–99 season and the best conference start since the 1995–96 Huskies opened league play 14–0.

Xavier (12–11, 4–8) was led by All Wright, who scored 14 points, with Roddie Anderson III and Malik Messina-Moore finishing with 10 apiece. Big East scoring leader Tre Carroll, who had been averaging 26.4 points over his previous five games, was limited to just nine points by a swarming UConn defense.

The Musketeers briefly gained momentum in the second half with a 9–0 run fueled by Anthony Robinson, Isaiah Walker, and Anderson, but the surge only trimmed the deficit to 25 before the Huskies reasserted control.
