Philadelphia, PA–Sunday evening’s Essence of Entertainment’s showcase at the Dell Music Center was truly an iconic event. Presented by Philly’s own Platinum Productions, its all-star lineup brought forth generations of music lovers flooding the renowed amphitheater gates enjoying a night of pure melodic bliss.

The world-famous Blue Notes graced their hometown stage with conventional class and style formation on their 1974 vintage track “Where Are All My Friends” gold certified hits “If You Don’t Know Me By Now“, “The Love I Lost“, love ballad “I Miss You” along with McFadden and Whitehead written 1975 top disco jam “Bad Luck” kicking off that slammin’ old school flavor.

Detroit trailblazers The Dramatics followed suit on the prime melodic soul fest to endless top charters “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get“, “Me And Mrs. Jones“, getting their groove on to Snoop Dog’s 1993 collaborative hit “Doggy Dog World” before smoothly slaying their 1972 heartbreak masterpiece “In The Rain” and closing to 1976’s classic ballad “Be My Girl” wooing concertgoers.
