LAS VEGAS, NV — A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces bounced back in a big way on Sunday afternoon, snapping a three-game losing streak with an 89–81 win over Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever at T-Mobile Arena.

Wilson, the reigning league MVP, led the way with 24 points as the Aces (6–7) got back on track after dropping five of their previous six games. She was one of five Las Vegas players to score in double figures, with Jackie Young contributing 19 points and Chelsea Gray adding 18 in a well-balanced effort.

Aliyah Boston powered Indiana (6–7) with 26 points, including 18 in the first half, but the Fever couldn’t close the deal late. Clark, last season’s Rookie of the Year, finished with a double-double—19 points and 11 assists—but continued to struggle from long range, hitting just 1 of 10 from three. Over her last two games, she’s 1 for 17 from beyond the arc.

Both Wilson and Clark had a rough start, combining to shoot just 2 of 15 through the midway point of the second quarter. But the Aces came alive in the final frame.

With the game tied at 69–69 early in the fourth, Las Vegas pulled away with a 9–2 run that gave them a lead they wouldn’t surrender.

The win was a much-needed boost for the defending champions, who entered the game facing questions about their early-season inconsistency. Sunday’s performance may mark a turning point as they seek to regain title-contender form.

Las Vegas also maintained its dominance over Indiana, improving to 5–0 against the Fever dating back to last season. The teams are scheduled to face off twice more in Indianapolis later this year.

Sunday’s contest was moved from the Aces’ usual home, Michelob ULTRA Arena, to T-Mobile Arena to accommodate heightened fan interest—largely fueled by Clark’s growing popularity. Though the Las Vegas crowd was loud and proud, a noticeable portion of the audience sported Clark jerseys and shirts, adding to the star-studded atmosphere.

DeWanna Bonner missed her fourth straight game for Indiana due to personal reasons, while head coach Stephanie White returned to the bench after being absent for the Fever’s previous outing.
