Washington, DC — Allisha Gray poured in a career-high 32 points as the Atlanta Dream set a franchise record with 18 made 3-pointers, cruising past the Washington Mystics 89-56 on Sunday afternoon.

Gray was nearly unstoppable, shooting 10-of-14 from the field and knocking down 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. Atlanta (8-3) finished the game 18-of-42 from deep, while the Mystics struggled mightily from distance, hitting just 3-of-17. Overall, Washington managed just 18 made field goals and shot 29.5% from the floor.

Rhyne Howard added 14 points for the Dream, including four triples, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 300 career three-pointers. She did it in just 114 games—surpassing Sabrina Ionescu (117 games) and Diana Taurasi (124).

Rookie Te-Hina Paopao had a breakout performance, scoring a career-best 16 points on four 3-pointers. Naz Hillmon chipped in with a double-double—10 points and 11 rebounds. The Dream finished with 24 assists on 31 made baskets in a display of efficient, team-oriented offense.

Washington (4-7) was outmatched from the opening tip and never found a rhythm. Sonia Citron was the only Mystic to score in double figures, finishing with 10 points.

Atlanta exploded out of halftime, opening the third quarter with a 16-0 run—Gray scoring eight of those—to blow the game wide open. After Shakira Austin briefly stopped the bleeding with a three-point play, Paopao answered with a three and Brittney Griner scored her only bucket, extending the lead to 66-37.

The Dream led 45-34 at the break, thanks to Gray’s hot hand—she had 12 of Atlanta’s first 16 points—and a stifling defensive effort that held Washington scoreless from the field for over eight minutes in the first half.
