CHICAGO, IL — Rookie Matas Buzelis poured in a career-high 27 points as the Chicago Bulls stayed perfect on the season, defeating the Sacramento Kings 126–113 on Wednesday night at the United Center.

The victory moved Chicago to 4–0, marking its best start since the 2021–22 campaign.

Josh Giddey flirted with a triple-double, posting 20 points, 12 assists, and eight rebounds, while Nikola Vučević added 13 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists in another balanced performance from the Bulls. Kevin Huerter contributed 18 points as Chicago shot an efficient 53.8% from the field.

The night also marked the return of Zach LaVine, who spent six seasons with the Bulls before being traded to Sacramento last season. LaVine received a warm welcome and a first-quarter video tribute, then went on to score 30 points to lead the Kings. DeMar DeRozan, another former Chicago star, chipped in 19 points, while Domantas Sabonis recorded 18 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.

Despite shooting 53.1% overall, the Kings struggled from long range, connecting on just 7 of 28 attempts from beyond the arc.

Sacramento came in on short rest after falling 107–101 to defending champion Oklahoma City the night before. The Kings carried a narrow 64–62 edge into halftime, but the Bulls took control in the third quarter and never looked back, outscoring Sacramento 64–49 in the second half and leading by as many as 17 in the final period.
