Ames, Iowa — No. 10 Iowa State put on another offensive showcase Sunday afternoon, rolling past Northern Illinois 105–52 behind an explosive performance from Audi Crooks.

Crooks poured in 30 points in just 19 minutes, leading a trio of Cyclones in double figures. The nation’s leading scorer at 27.3 points per game, Crooks extended her active streak of consecutive double-digit scoring games to 77, the longest currently in Division I.

Alisa Williams added 14 points, a new season best, while Addy Brown nearly posted a double-double with 10 points and nine assists as Iowa State improved to 10–0.

Cyclones break away early

A tight start didn’t last long. The Cyclones closed the opening quarter with a 12–0 burst, stretching their lead to 13. From there, it only got more lopsided.

By halftime, Iowa State had a 58–23 advantage, fueled by 23 first-half points from Crooks. She played sparingly after the break, logging just five minutes in the second half, yet still finished 13-for-19 from the field.

Elite scoring pace

Iowa State has now topped 100 points in three of its last four outings. The Cyclones are averaging 95.8 points per game, and their plus-38.6 scoring margin ranks among the top five nationally.

This 10–0 start is the program’s best since the 2013–14 season, when the team won its first 14 games.

Northern Illinois overwhelmed

Teresa Mbemba and Maria Serracanta led the Huskies (2–7) with 16 points apiece, but it wasn’t nearly enough to keep up. Northern Illinois made just 5 of 19 from beyond the arc and shot 20-for-55 overall. The game marked the Huskies’ first meeting with a ranked opponent in three seasons.
