Dallas, TX— Quinten Grimes delivered a standout performance with 26 points, nine rebounds, and six assists as the Dallas Mavericks ended their five-game losing streak with a dominant 118-97 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.

Grimes tied his career high by sinking six 3-pointers, shooting an impressive 6-for-11 from beyond the arc. P.J. Washington added 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds, helping Dallas shoot 52% (18-of-38) from 3-point range.

The Mavericks managed the victory despite being shorthanded. Luka Doncic, sidelined since December 25 with a left calf strain, and Kyrie Irving, missing his second straight game due to a bulging disk in his back, were both unavailable.

For the Lakers, Anthony Davis recorded 21 points and 12 rebounds, while LeBron James contributed 18 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. However, Los Angeles suffered its second consecutive defeat and has now lost three of its last five games.
