Brooklyn, N.Y. — October 19, 2025 — Two-division world champion Danny “Swift” Garcia delivered a spectacular finale to his Barclays Center legacy on Saturday night, flattening Queens native Danny “El Gallo” Gonzalez with a single, crushing left hook in the fourth round of their main event. The explosive finish headlined a packed Swift Promotions card streamed live via MILLIONS.co pay-per-view.

Fighting for the 10th and final time at the Brooklyn venue he helped make a boxing landmark, Garcia (38-4, 22 KOs) wasted no time asserting control. From the opening bell, he stalked Gonzalez (22-5-1, 7 KOs) behind a stiff jab and heavy combinations that visibly rattled the challenger.

“I knew I hurt him early, but my timing wasn’t where I wanted it,” Garcia said afterward. “My dad just told me to stay patient, work the jab, and wait for him to stop moving his feet. When he did, I knew the shot would come.”

That shot came just 45 seconds into the fourth round — a perfectly timed left hook that landed flush and ended the fight instantly. The dramatic knockout punctuated what might be the final chapter of Garcia’s celebrated career.

“I’m just happy,” a reflective Garcia said in the ring. “I’ve accomplished a lot in this sport, and this is a beautiful way to close it out. I’m healthy, I’ve got my family… I don’t know if I’m completely done yet, but I’m grateful.”

Crowder, Knyba, and Rosado Impress in Co-Feature Bouts

Baltimore’s Dominique Crowder (19-0, 11 KOs) remained unbeaten with a dominant performance over Fernando Diaz (16-6-1, 6 KOs). Crowder controlled the pace throughout, earning wide scores of 100-90 twice and 98-92 in the bantamweight contest.

Polish heavyweight contender Damian Knyba (17-0, 11 KOs) showcased his power and poise, stopping veteran Joey Dawejko (28-14-4, 16 KOs) at 2:25 of round seven. Knyba systematically broke Dawejko down with jabs and combinations before dropping him with a thunderous left hook.

Veteran warrior “King” Gabriel Rosado (28-17-1, 16 KOs) returned to form with a decisive eight-round victory over Vaughn Alexander (19-17-2, 12 KOs), taking the fight on the scorecards by 80-72 and 79-73 twice.

Brooklyn Favorites Deliver for the Home Crowd

The local favorites gave the Barclays crowd plenty to cheer for. Brooklyn’s own Chris “Primetime” Colbert (18-3, 6 KOs) dropped Blas Ezequiel Caro (12-9, 5 KOs) en route to a unanimous decision, winning by scores of 80-71, 78-73, and 77-74 in the super lightweight division.

Fellow New Yorker Reshad Mati (16-0, 8 KOs) battled through a close eight-rounder to edge Jose Angulo (17-11, 10 KOs) by majority decision, with two judges favoring him 77-75 against one even card.

Rising welterweight Mathew Gonzalez (16-1-1, 10 KOs) earned a tight unanimous decision over Wilfredo Flores (12-6-1, 5 KOs), taking scores of 77-74 and 76-75 twice.

In a spirited six-round light heavyweight battle, Avtandil Khurtsidze (34-2-3, 23 KOs) and Andres Martinez (6-4-1, 3 KOs) fought to a draw, with one 59-55 card for Khurtsidze offset by a pair of 57-57 tallies.

Rising Prospects Shine Early

Featherweight knockout artist Keith Colon Rodriguez (8-0, 8 KOs) continued his perfect KO streak, dropping and stopping previously unbeaten David Calabro (5-1, 3 KOs) at 2:26 of round three.

Undefeated Brooklyn native Cristian Cangelosi (12-0, 5 KOs) impressed in front of his hometown crowd, outboxing Victoriano Santillan (13-9-2, 8 KOs) to win a unanimous decision with scores of 79-73, 78-74, and 77-75.

Super welterweight Quincey Williams (6-0, 6 KOs) kept his perfect knockout record intact, dismantling Christopher Rodriguez (13-2-1, 11 KOs) for a second-round TKO at 1:31.

Debutants also made their mark:

Jahanzeb Rizwan (1-0, 1 KO) opened his pro career in style, stopping Travis Millage (0-2) at 2:24 of the first.

Zahir Abdus Salaam (1-0) earned a majority decision (40-36, 39-37, 38-38) in his middleweight debut against Eduardo Perez De La Paz (0-3).

With another knockout highlight added to his storied career, Danny Garcia may have fought his last fight under the Barclays Center lights — but if Saturday night was truly his farewell, he couldn’t have scripted a better ending.
