ATHENS, Ga. — Marcus Millender lit up the scoreboard with 22 points, knocking down six shots from beyond the arc, while Jeremiah Wilkinson added 20 more as Georgia powered past Tennessee Tech in a dominant 123–81 victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs wasted no time seizing control, racing to a 62–36 halftime lead behind crisp ball movement and hot shooting. Kanon Catchings delivered 17 points and seven rebounds, and both Blue Cain and Justin Abson finished with 12 points to round out Georgia’s balanced offensive attack.
Georgia shot an impressive 55% from the floor and 49% from 3-point range, overwhelming Tennessee Tech with its spacing and tempo. The Bulldogs also owned the glass with a 45–33 rebounding edge and turned 14 Golden Eagles turnovers into 33 points.

Ty Owens was the top scorer for Tennessee Tech with 16 points, followed by C.J. McPherson with 15 and Mekhi Turner with 12. The Golden Eagles struggled to match Georgia’s pace and efficiency, finishing at 41% shooting overall and just 18% from deep.
Georgia continued to roll in the second half, using transition buckets and a barrage of 3-pointers to push the advantage past 40 midway through the period. The Bulldogs have now topped the 120-point mark twice this season; the program record remains 138, set against Arkansas A&M in 1967.
