Las Vegas, NV — UNLV put together a complete performance Monday night, pulling away early and cruising to an 89–47 victory over La Sierra at home.

Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn paced the Rebels with 19 points and was disruptive on the defensive end, recording five steals to help fuel UNLV’s transition attack. Tyrin Jones provided an efficient scoring boost, knocking down six of his nine shots to finish with 15 points, while Howard Fleming Jr. chipped in 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting.

UNLV (6–6) controlled the tempo from the opening tip and steadily widened the gap, overwhelming La Sierra with depth, pressure defense, and balanced scoring. The Rebels continued to stretch the margin after halftime, outscoring the Golden Eagles by 12 points in the second half as Fleming led the way with seven points after the break.

La Sierra struggled to find consistent offense against UNLV’s pressure. Mateo Hamilton led the Golden Eagles with 12 points and seven rebounds, while Makael Reynolds added nine points. Stephen Perry contributed six points, five assists, and four steals, but it wasn’t enough to slow the Rebels’ momentum.

By the final buzzer, UNLV’s control was evident on both ends of the floor, turning defensive stops into scoring runs and never allowing La Sierra to mount a serious challenge.
