Chicago, IL— Josh Giddey recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists, leading the Chicago Bulls to a 128-102 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.

This marked Giddey’s first triple-double of the season and the 12th of his career.

Nikola Vucevic contributed 21 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Bulls bounce back after a rough stretch where they lost three of their previous four games. Matas Buzelis also impressed with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting, while Zach LaVine added 18 points to the scoreboard.

Brooklyn, on the other hand, extended its losing streak to three games, all within the last four days. Dariq Whitehead led the Nets with 18 points, while Dennis Schroder posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists.

The Nets were without forward Cam Johnson, who is sidelined with a sprained left ankle, a major blow given his 26-point performance in Sunday’s loss to Orlando. Chicago was also missing Coby White, who has a sprained left ankle.

The Bulls broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Brooklyn 36-22. Giddey set up Buzelis for a basket, giving Chicago a commanding 92-72 lead heading into the final frame.
