Las Vegas, NV – Justin Allgaier showcased his skill and determination at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, clinching his first NASCAR Xfinity Series victory of the season at the LiUNA! 300. Piloting the No. 7 Chevrolet for Jarrett Logistics, Allgaier’s dominant performance solidified his position as a top contender for the championship.
Aric Almirola, last week’s winner at Phoenix Raceway, proved to be a formidable competitor once again. Driving the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, he led 51 laps and secured the Stage 2 victory. Despite his strong performance, he ultimately settled for a second-place finish, crossing the line 1.067 seconds behind Allgaier. Almirola, who will start 11th in the upcoming race, continues to be a driver to watch as the season progresses.
Allgaier’s victory was sealed with a flawless pit strategy in the final stops, allowing him to overtake Almirola and control the remainder of the race. He led more than half of the 200-lap event, winning Stage 1 and maintaining his lead with impressive defensive driving.

The race was filled with multiple cautions, shaking up the field and challenging drivers to maintain focus. Early on, William Sawalich triggered a multi-car incident, setting the tone for an eventful afternoon. Other cautions involved Sammy Smith, an incident with Allgaier himself, and another around Lap 100 featuring Almirola.
Rookie Connor Zilisch, driving the No. 88 for JR Motorsports, put in a solid performance despite adversity. After starting third, he managed a top-10 finish, overcoming back-to-back cautions and a pit road speeding penalty that sent him to the back of the lead lap. His ability to recover highlights his potential as a rising star in the series.
In an unexpected turn, Kaulig Racing’s Josh Williams had to step out of his car due to breathing issues, leading to Ty Dillon taking over his ride at the end of Stage 1.
Rounding out the top five were Jesse Love in the No. 2 car, finishing third, followed by Austin Hill in the No. 21 and Sam Mayer in the No. 41.
