Las Vegas, NV—The Las Vegas Aces are looking unstoppable continuing their perfect start to the season after defeating the Minnesota Lynx 94-73 at Manadlay Bay Arena on Sunday evening.

The victory marked the Aces fourth win in a row. Jackie Young had another strong game posting 23 points and also passed the 500-rebound mark. A’ja Wilson was just behind her with 21. Wilson has now scored at least 10 points for 28 consecutive games, which is the third-longest active streak in the WNBA.

The Lynx fell to 0-4 for the third year in a row. They trailed by double digits almost the entire second half vs. the Aces (4-0), who had five players score in double figures playing before an announced crowd of 7,970. Chelsea Gray had 19 points, Kelsey Plum, and Alysha Clark had 11 apiece.

There is a lot of individual talent over there offensively,” Reeve said of the Aces, who celebrated their 2022 championship by routing Los Angeles in their home opener Saturday night. “. We’ve got to make shots when we are open. I liked what we did for much of the game. When we needed to go toe-to-toe with them, offensively, we came up short.”

The win was also a big one for Candace Parker. She is now ninth in all-time WNBA career wins with 256. Alysha Clark drained a 3-pointer with 5:23 to go in the third quarter that gave Las Vegas a 60-48 lead and the Lynx trailed double figures the rest of the way.

With the team coming off back-to-back games, head coach Becky Hammon said the team is still working on getting into the best physical shape they can be to go after another championship.
