BELINDA DAVIDS, born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, discovered her passion for music at a young age, growing up in a gospel-influenced household of seven children. Known for her remarkable 4-octave vocal range, she began performing professionally at just 14 years old, wowing audiences with her ability to sing across genres. Her lifelong admiration for WHITNEY HOUSTON began when she first heard the duet “Hold Me” (1983), recorded by Houston and Teddy Pendergrass, which became one of the first LPs Davids ever owned.

Without formal training, she quickly gained recognition, with her original single “We Go Together” from her self-titled album Belinda Davids (1996) topping South Africa’s RiSA charts for six weeks.

Over the years, BELINDA DAVIDS has shared stages with global icons, opening for international artists like Michael Jackson on his History tour, The Manhattans, and The Temptations. She has performed in Dubai, London, and Hong Kong, where audiences demanded she sing acapella due to her striking vocal resemblance to WHITNEY HOUSTON.

WHITNEY HOUSTON’s musical legacy is brought to life by BELINDA DAVIDS in this critically acclaimed tribute show described as “mind-blowingly spot on”.
