Cleveland, OH — Youngstown State secured a 68-60 victory over Cleveland State on Sunday, thanks in large part to Nico Galette’s impressive performance, scoring 19 points. Galette also grabbed seven rebounds, helping his team to an important win.
For the Penguins (18-10, 12-5 Horizon League), Ty Harper contributed 11 points and five rebounds, while Jason Nelson also tallied 11 points. Nelson was efficient, hitting 3 of 5 field goal attempts and 4 of 6 free throws.
Cleveland State (18-9, 12-4 Horizon League) was led by Dylan Arnett, who scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Tevin Smith added 15 points, and Chase Robinson chipped in with 15 points as well.
