Paterson, NJ — Passaic Arts & Science Charter pulled off a hard-fought 22-20 victory over Paterson Arts & Science Charter on Tuesday night at the Paterson Arts and Science Charter School Gymnasium in a game filled with dramatic momentum shifts.
Jazael Silverio led Passaic with a standout performance, scoring 9 points, pulling down 4 rebounds, dishing out 2 assists, and recording 2 steals. Jayden Perdomo also played a key role, contributing 4 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists to help secure the win.
The game began with high energy, as Passaic quickly jumped out to a 6-2 lead. Despite the early deficit, Paterson Charter stayed within striking distance, and by halftime, Passaic held a slim 12-11 lead.
After the break, Paterson Arts & Science Charter tied the game at 13, then took a 15-13 lead into the final quarter. With the game intensifying, Passaic battled back to even the score at 17-17 with just over two minutes left on the clock.
