Atlantic City, NJ-The extravagance of Caesar’s Palace is one to endure. One of the nine luxurious casinos in New Jersey, its architectural ambience is simply breathtaking. Whether the beauty of its Roman aura, inclusive casino, trendy restaurants and shops or world-class entertainment venue, you’ll undoubtedly be awarded a regal experience.

Headlining Saturday night’s musical highlight was legendary rocker Pat Benatar and husband Neil Giraldo showcasing their “De Novo Tour” at the grand Circus Maximus Theater turning it into an all out 80’s party, kicking off to vigorous enlivened track “All Fired Up” shaking up the energetic crowd.

Welcoming the receptive praise of her fans, the seasoned songstress went full throttle on her 1985 smash hit “Invincible” off her sixth studio album “Seven the Hard Way” fueling concert goers to a power charged songfest.

Vibing in the momentum, she jammed out with Giraldo in true rocker mode to “Strawberry Wine” (Life Is Sweet) before pausing to address her lifelong devotees on the pandemic, the 41st anniversary of multi platinum sophomore album “Crimes Of Passion” and celebrating forty years of marriage to producer, songwriter and lead guitarist Neil “Spyder” Giraldo.

“This tour has been amazing, its been kind of a little bit like a dream because after eighteen months it wipes out forty-two years just like that!” snapping her fingers to listeners engaging in a quick laugh.

“So you have no idea where…you can’t remember what we use to do so its kind of fun…to start over you know. Its good…that’s what De Novo means De Novo, the tour is called De Novo it means to start over” conveyed the platinum blonde sensation.

After the brief impromptu, in honor of their ruby milestone, Benatar jumped back in artist mode paying tribute with the first song they co-wrote “Promises In The Dark” slaying her musician swag before tapering off to a softer tempo with Giraldo ditching his guitar to stroke piano keys on an acoustic version of “We Belong” moving the stoked audience.

Benatar and her assemble put on quite a performance to all her heartfelt classics including “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and all-time favorite “Love Is A Battlefield”. After nearly fifty years in the music industry, this multi-platinum, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and Grammy Award winner sounds like she never missed a beat and still has what it takes to sell out crowd.
