Atlanta, GA — Rookie Zaccharie Risacher scored 21 points and Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 20 as the Atlanta Hawks rolled past the Orlando Magic 127–112 on Tuesday night at State Farm Arena.

Dyson Daniels contributed 18 points on an efficient 8-of-9 shooting performance, Jalen Johnson added 17, and Kristaps Porziņģis finished with 15 as the Hawks won for the third time in their last four outings. Onyeka Okongwu came off the bench to provide 14 points and seven rebounds.

Atlanta shot 55.6% from the field and led by as many as 25, improving to 2–0 against Orlando this season. The Hawks have now topped the 100-point mark in all eight of their games.

Paolo Banchero paced the Magic with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. Orlando’s night turned sour in the third quarter when starting guard Desmond Bane was ejected after committing a flagrant foul on Okongwu, then spiking the ball off the forward’s head — drawing a technical foul that sent him to the locker room.

By that point, Atlanta had already seized control. Risacher, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, exploded for 11 points in the game’s first four minutes and reached 16 by halftime — surpassing 1,000 career points in the process.

The Hawks scored at least 30 points in each of the first three quarters, using a pair of dominant runs — a 13–0 burst spanning the first and second quarters and a 14–1 surge late in the first half — to put the Magic on their heels.

Orlando struggled with foul trouble all night, committing 30 total fouls and drawing three technicals.

Daniels also recorded two steals, extending his streak to 60 consecutive games with at least one steal — the second-longest in franchise history and ninth-longest in NBA history.
