South Orange, N.J. – Sophomore Savannah Catalon delivered a career-best performance with 36 points, propelling the Seton Hall women’s basketball team to a 76-67 victory over DePaul on Senior Night. The win marked the Pirates’ 20th of the season in a hard-fought matchup Thursday evening.

With emotions running high as four seniors were honored in a pregame ceremony, Seton Hall had to shake off a slow start before seizing control in the second quarter. A pivotal 11-0 scoring surge gave the Pirates a lead they never relinquished.

Catalon, just three points shy of the program’s single-game scoring record held by Lauren Park-Lane, was exceptional from the free-throw line, hitting a perfect 16-for-16 to set a new program record for most free throws made in a game without a miss. She finished 9-of-19 from the field while adding six rebounds, three assists, three steals, and drawing 11 fouls.

Faith Masonius recorded her first career double-double with 13 points and a team-high 11 rebounds, while Amari Wright turned in her best game of the season with 13 points, a career-high eight rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Kaydan Lawson also contributed 10 points and three rebounds.
