Atlantic City, N.J. — Dola Adebayo recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, leading Mount St. Mary’s to a 62-58 win over Marist in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday night.
Arlandus Keyes contributed 11 points, knocking down three 3-pointers, and grabbed five rebounds for the sixth-seeded Mountaineers (20-12). They will now advance to face the second-seeded Merrimack in the semifinals on Friday. Jedy Cordilia also chipped in 11 points, shooting 5-of-8 from the field.
Josh Pascarelli was the top scorer for the third-seeded Red Foxes (20-10), finishing with 16 points. Jadin Collins chipped in with 14 points, four assists, and three steals, while Jason Schofield recorded 11 points and eight rebounds.
Cordilia was a key contributor in the first half, scoring nine points to help Mount St. Mary’s take a 27-19 lead into halftime.
In the final moments of the game, Cordilia scored the last six points for the Mountaineers, securing their victory.
