Philadelphia, PA–The Mixtape Tour was a electrifying blast from the past dance party at the Wells Fargo Center Wednesday night. Fans of all ages came to the sold-out arena celebrating some of music’s most legendary names of the 80’s and 90’s true throwback style.

The uniquely structured duo stage settings were the perfect feature for both the powerhouse line-up and massive sea of intensely elated concertgoers awaiting the ultimate thrill of a lifetime.

Opening to hard core single “Block Party” off their 2013 sixth studio album 10, the Boston Five graced the spotlights to their explosive intro welcomed by the thunderous roar of diehard fans.

Trading sets with their fellow artists, the multi platinum group performed all pop classics “Favorite Girl”, “Dirty Dancing”, “Summertime”, “Cover Girl” with sexy bad boys Donnie and Jordan showing the ladies their still chiseled frames. Resuming the jam fest, they rocked top-charting tracks including fan favorite “You Got It (Right Stuff)” causing an all out frenzy.

The Funky Divas En Vogue were next on the exclusive line-up flossing their ageless beauty and silky vocals to their playlist of hits “My Lovin’ (Never Gonna Get It), “Free Your Mind”, and “Hold On” favoring their award-winning songstress vibe.

Trailblazing Hip-Hop group Salt n Pepa laced bars on “None Of Your Business”, “Express Yourself”, “Let’s Talk About Sex”, and the flirtatious track “Whatta Man” alongside seven-time Grammy nominated ladies of soul En Vogue.

NKOTB came back taking the entire venue on a joy-ride down memory lane with an 80’s/90’s medley tribute to classic hits Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, BBD’s “Poison”, Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and Bon Jovi’s “Living On A Prayer” before welcoming multi-Billboard Award winner Rick Astley to the stage rocking out world-wide platinum smashes “Never Gonna Give You Up” and “Together Forever” breaking the amphitheater into an all out sing-a-long.

After their fancy foot work on blazing chart topper “Step By Step” they remixed the rhythmic vibe to Salt n Pepa performing timeless classic “Push It” and closed out the phenomenal showcase with world-famous single “Hangin’ Tough” off their 1988 diamond certified second album.

From start to finish, this production was orchestrated superbly taking you back to a time when music lovers came together celebrating the pure joy of diverse sound and embracing a unified world.
