UNCASVILLE, Conn. — John Poulakidas led the Yale Bulldogs to a decisive 91-66 victory over Fairfield on Saturday, scoring 22 points in the game.
Poulakidas was highly efficient, shooting 7 of 8 from the field, including 6 of 7 from three-point range. Nick Townsend contributed significantly with 16 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, while Samson Aletan added 15 points, making 5 of 9 from the field and hitting 5 of 6 from the free-throw line.
For the Stags (2-4), Makuei Riek was the top scorer with 13 points. Fairfield also saw contributions of 13 points and two steals from Noah Best, while Louis Bleechmore chipped in with 11 points. The victory improved Yale’s record to 4-3 on the season.
Yale was dominate since the tip off and kept their foot on the gas pedal for both halves.
