Philadelphia, PA–The soaring temperatures and rainy conditions didn’t put a damper on the Dell Music Center’s Essence of Entertainment showcase. Admirers from all over jammed entry ways as this Thursday’s headliners were none other than platinum recording sensation Kelly Price together with frequent iconic trendsetters The Isley Brothers returning to the music center always rocking it to its core.

Consistently setting the tone off right gearing fans for the spectacular festivities was WDAS’ own DJ Gary O shaking up the crowd spinning nothing but timeless party classics along with the “Lady Of The House” Mrs. Patty Jackson donning her million dollar smile adding her beloved hostess pizazz delivering that ambient flavor.

Opening the gran production making her first appearance back to the music center since the pandemic overcoming her near death experience from Covid was the amazing Kelly Price looking fabulous as ever finessing her powerhouse vocals to “It’s My Time” off her 2014 seventh release Sing Pray Love, Vol. 1 serenading thrilled fans.

She continued her stellar breakthrough on “You Should’ve Told Me“, slayed her vivacious alto on “It’s Gonna Rain” before rocking Bad Boy smash “Mo’ Money More Problems“, Grammy nominated Whitney Houston/Faith Evans duet “Heartbreak Hotel“, “As We Lay” then closing phenomenally to “A Friend Of Mine” giving praise to God and fans on making a blessed dual collapsed lung recovery.

After the hour long rain delay, the showcase resumed with the funky sounds of quintessential virtuoso duo The Isley Brothers with Ernie gracing the stage flossing his impeccable guitar solo mesmerizing the entire venue before Ron appeared Mr. Biggs style to a massively ecstatic lovers welcome.

The seducingly seasoned twosome performed their endless playlist of classics from “Between The Sheets“, “Footsteps“, “Don’t Say Goodnight” to “It’s Your Thang“, “Twist And Shout“, “Fight The Power“, “Summer Breeze“, “Voyage To Atlantis” and lovers melody “For The Love Of You” forever captivating the mob of stormy devotees sealing their performance ever so flawlessly.
