The North Well Theater at Jones Beach formerly known as the Nikon Theater, is a great summer pass time retreat.  Adjacent to the beach, this stadium style amphitheater is one of the two most top outdoor arenas in the New York metro area.  This 15,000-seat venue has played host to some of the biggest names in musical entertainment, yet tonight’s spectacle was undoubtingly historical.

The groundbreaking 70’s American rock band The Dobbie Brothers took to the stage opening the concert in classic form playing numerous vintage hits “Listen to The Music”, “What A Fool Believes” and “Long Train Running” revving the crowd in a harmonic frenzy.  Having earned an enormous amount of success for nearly five decades, with fourteen albums selling over forty million records world-wide not to mention being inducted in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004, these San Jose California trailblazers confirm longevity reigns supreme.
