Newark, NJ–Power 105’s Powerhouse 2022 mega concert was back at Brick City’s own Prudential Center Saturday night with an explosive lineup of performances that kept the entire venue in full party mode with that concrete jungle vibe.

This year NYC was in the house representing heavy with DJ Spin King and Friends hitting the red carpet with Coney Island’s Nems before opening the show together with Harlem’s own Juelz Santana spitting lyrics to throwback hits and latest fire followed by Lil Tjay and Ice Spice holding it down for the Boogie Down Bronx lacing their set.

Next on the scene was Florida rapper Kodak Black hitting the stage blazing his top hits making the crowd hype blaring out his infectious hooks before Memphis Tennessee’s Moneybagg Yo got his shine rocking out to tracks “Time Today”, “Steppers” and “Doin 2 Much”.

R&B Nigerian songstress Tems performed her playlist of jams later receiving a surprise presentation by The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee and members of Tems’ label handing the artist a plaque encasing her gold record for her smash single “Free Mind” reaching number one on Billboard’s US Afro beats chart. The triple talented beauty who wrote Rhianna’s “Lift Me Up” the Wakanda Forever tribute track was shown much love yet, the Powerhouse headliner shutdown the venue.

The return of Nicki Minaj was an epic showcase. The Queens Black Barbie did her thing flexing all her hits “We Go Up“, “Super Bass” and “Chun-Li” with guess appearances by Fivio foreign and 2 Chainz on classic track “Beez In The Trap“. The Trinidadian doll made her presence felt as if she never left the spotlight, fans were without a doubt feeling the absence of her sassy, sexy swag.

Powerhouse 2022 was a hot ticket definitely one not to be missed, New York stood up big time and represented.
